There is no better time than the New Year to mix up your look. It's a quick way to feel like something has really changed in your world, as opposed to making (pesky but important) resolutions that take time to take effect.

Leading the "new year, new hair" charge this year is none other than Zoe Deutch.

"Starting off 2024 with bangs," wrote the 29-year-old via Instagram on Wednesday, January 3. To my delight, the not okay actress paired her cheeky caption with not one, but four professional shots of the new fringe. And no, Deutsch didn't just lightly slick up her bangs-these are the real deal.

Cut by celebrity hairstylist Bridget Brager, Deitch's new hairstyle has a '60s look. Tousled to follow her natural waves, Brager shaped the bangs to be thick but not too thick, and straight but not too straight to the side. The color is a warm, wintery brunette by Tracy Cunningham.

Comments on Deutch's post were positively overflowing with other celebrities complimenting her and sharing their solidarity with her bangs.

"I love you," Phoebe Daimber wrote, while fellow brunette Nina Dobrev added a friendly "welcome to the club" with a heart emoji.

"I love them and you so, so much!!!" Actress-makeup artist Jenna Christina crafted the softest, sweetest double winged eyeliner for the deutsch van premiere post. Photographed outdoors by Elias Tahan, the photos look like forest fairies with their soothing green color palette and quaint vibe.

Frankly, I hope we end the year with a bang. This is a cut that should be established.
