Zendaya unfollows everyone on Instagram, including her boyfriend Tom Holland
This is not a drill! On Wednesday, January 3, award-winning actress Zendaya unfollowed me on Instagram. Excuse me? Zendaya kept her Instagram grid intact, much to the delight and appreciation of her more than 184 million followers. Her last post was a promotional poster for her new movie, Challengers, in which she helps her former professional tennis player-turned-coach husband succeed in tennis, but ends up playing against her ex-boyfriend." Wishing you all a most beautiful New Year."
The "Euphoria" actress has yet to explain her decision to unfollow everyone, Entertainment Tonight reported, and the intentions behind her social media purge are still unclear. Zendaya left a photo of her and boyfriend Holland on the Instagram grid, so her decision to unfollow everyone on the social media app was just a New Year's resolution (stars are like us!). Maybe it was, or maybe it was in preparation for a promotional tour for her new movie. We can only hope so. The happy couple's post includes a black-and-white photo of Holland staring into the camera while holding Zendaya in his arms and a black-and-white photo of her smiling and looking away. The actress writes, "I am happiest on the birthday of the person who makes me happiest."
Zendaya and Holland began dating after meeting on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Their relationship was kept private for some time, but according to Elle, they were first caught locking lips by paparazzi in July 2021.
In September 2023, Zendaya quashed rumors of her marriage to Holland in a video she posted on her Instagram Story." I can't post anything, guys," Zendaya laughed in the video. "I posted this for the hat: ...... It's not for the ring on my right finger, guys. Seriously, you think that makes me drop the deuce?
So, to recap: Zendaya unfollowed everyone on Instagram, including her boyfriend. It's okay. It's okay. Everything's fine.
