With a big movie and a new album coming out in 2024, Ariana Grande is sharper than ever these days. In true beauty mogul fashion, she even has the eyeliner to prove it.

On Thursday, November 4, the Wicked actress was spotted rocking a major graphic eye look in New York City. The rest of her face was essentially makeup free, with brownish-red top eyeliner winging out and extending to her brow bone. Under both eyebrows, another line was drawn parallel to the eyeliner line (perfectly parallel!) and and sharply connected to the eyeliner line.

The 30-year-old wore her softest pink lips and just a touch of face makeup (it's possible her face is that perfect, but who isn't?) Dressed in a sweatshirt and jeans, her blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail, she looked like a makeup-loving cutie out running errands. However! "Thank U, Next" singer's fans are not so easily fooled.

In a New Year's-themed Instagram carousel posted on December 27, Grande wears an eerily similar makeup look (though it's hard to see because it's captured on the tiny Polaroid she took the second photo with). The look is eerie and means there may be more to her appearance than just a fun outing photo shoot. Especially since fans took the Instagram post to mean she was preparing for a new album.

Not surprisingly, fans looked for similar clues in the new photo: what does her sweatshirt with "yes,and?" mean? What about the cherry red nail polish (which appears to be her merchandise)? Or perhaps the most charming detail: the famous ponytail.

"See you next year," the Grammy winner writes with her auspicious post. Well, we're certainly watching her and liking what we see. (Especially that liner)
