From Kim Kardashian to Beyonce and now Penelope Cruz, the Cher Horowitz, Clueless-inspired pink tweed look worn by Cruise at Variety's Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors to Watch brunch was the perfect Trend. The brunch was held yesterday during the 35th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival, which celebrated some of the most influential actors and directors to come out of Hollywood in the past year.

Sean Penn presented Cruz with an award at the event, where he called her an "acting animal" who excels in "intuition and imagination," People reported. While accepting her award, Cruz spoke of her childhood passion for acting and how she first found her way into acting through ballet as a child: "I feel very lucky to be able to make a living at acting. 'When I was four years old, I asked my teacher to let me do Carmen. She called my parents. Then I started acting. I was really lucky. I've been a student all my life.

Cruz received the Creative Impact Award for acting for her outstanding career; the four-time Oscar nominee was chosen for her "bold, multi-dimensional, unforgettable performance," according to Entertainment Tonight.

"I grew up dreaming of acting, so I'm actually always confused," Cruz said. 'All I ever wanted was to have a job, a profession, that was exciting and creative. So I was praying to be able to make a living at a job I loved. But I never dreamed of this extra something. But I don't want to lose this feeling, and I don't want to expect something like this."

Cruise will turn 50 in April, but the actress told "Entertainment Tonight" that she plans to live to be 100. She said she is "not happy" with the film industry's obsession with using AI, but joked that it might help her spend "much longer" with her children and future grandchildren.

Cruz, who represents Chanel, showed off a pink, black, and white plaid cord from Chanel's spring/summer 2024 ready-to-wear collection at an event yesterday. The look was inspired by Cher Horowitz of Clueless, and to emphasize the 1990s theme, she wore a black tube top under her jacket and mary jane peep-toe heels, similar to Cher's white heels. She also carried a black quilted Chanel purse for the occasion.

"This is something I've been passionate about since I was a little girl," she said. 'When you're doing what you love the most and you get an award, it's very confusing and shocking. When I was a little girl, every night I would pray, 'God, please don't lock me in an office. I thought I would go crazy if I couldn't let go of everything that was going on here.'

The same day, Cruz changed from a soft pink look to an edgier look at the SAG-AFTRA screening of her new film Ferrari: wide-leg denim jeans, a black button-up blouse, and a leaf-print leather jacket. The jacket featured dramatic lapels and double-breasted buttons.

Cruz says of himself. Cruz told Variety that she would one day like to star in a superhero movie: "If it's something interesting, by all means," she said. If it's something interesting, why not? As you can imagine, my kids sometimes ask me, 'Mom, are you going to do that? ' I've done a lot of dramas and movies that I haven't been able to show them yet." Cruz also said that while she has "had conversations here and there" about appearing in a superhero movie, "there's nothing concrete that's going to happen anytime soon." What will probably happen in the near future is a musical, and Cruz told the magazine that they are about to start filming any day now. I'm going to start shooting right away," Cruz told the magazine. I was so lucky to do 'Nine' with Rob Marshall that I had to go back to dancing five hours a day. I'm planning on doing something that will make me very happy."
