Halle Bailey and boyfriend DDG are now parents to a newborn son, Halo, Bailey admitted on Instagram last night. She said, "Even though we are only a few days into the new year, the biggest thing that 2023 has given me is bringing me my son.

The famed private actress never confirmed that she was pregnant, despite speculation, and in November, according to People, Bailey told a fan on Snapchat who claimed to see a "pregnant nose" in a recent photo, "Listen, if after Listen, if you see one more person say anything about my nose, there will be hell to pay," she said in a video in response. 'You know why? Because I'm black. I love my nose. What do you care about my nose?"

Fans noticed Bailey wearing more "baggy streetwear" during, in her words, "fall time," and she told Us Weekly that her personal style is "bohemian, really chic and comfortable" and that during the press tour for The Little Mermaid The look she wore was "fire," but she said she "wanted to switch it up a bit and get away from the princess look."

"Most of the time, [I] like to dress down," Bailey said.

Similarly, she told Cosmopolitan that she embraces her ever-evolving figure through her clothes. She said, "I want to be sexy. I want to feel good. I want to wear clothes that embrace where I am in life."

Bailey and DDG dated for two years and became Instagram official in March 2022; in May 2023, when asked if she would call her boyfriend a real prince, she said, "Yeah, I would say so. I think the best thing about young love is that you can keep finding yourself through the journey of loving someone. And you discover new parts of yourself and things about your heart that you didn't realize before."

In September, Bailey said her upcoming solo album was inspired by her experience in love with DDG. She said, "But this is my first deep, deep, true love, and I've never been in love with anyone else before. This has been a really beautiful and transformative time for me. I have all this new material to write about. What in the world did I experience and go through? A whirlwind of surprises. You never know what you are capable of until you experience it. I was very creatively inspired and fell in love from there. And I began to play with those themes in my music."

She also says that "I was inspired by the idea of the music being a part of the world.

She further spoke to Cosmopolitan about DDG, saying, "I've always been in love with the music. Love is a really big thing for me, too, and it's the first time I've experienced it, so it's like a 'wow' in my brain. It's just fireworks, sparks of creativity."

Meanwhile, proud father DDG (whose full name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) shared the same image of his son, writing, "my biggest blessing by far. son son son.... Never been so in love. baby halo." with the caption, "I've never been so in love. baby halo. The rapper also added a post to his Instagram Story with the note, "Here comes the most flying kid in the universe."
