Rachel Brosnahan's "contemporary" Golden Globe-winning ponytail is made possible with this volumizing blow brush

There was no doubt that Rachel Brosnahan, nominated for Best Actress for her amazing work on the final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, was due to arrive on the red carpet in style. And her top-notch glam team, consisting of hairstylist Daniel Pugliano and makeup artist Lisa Aharon, had her prepped and ready.

Beauty Dream Time gave Marie Claire a behind-the-scenes look at what went on before Brosnahan hit the big stage. And even though Brosnahan's glamour looked flawless, the pro assured us that her sleek ponytail and understated makeup could be recreated very easily at home.

"Our goal was to create a contemporary, sophisticated look that echoed the chic appeal of the Sergio Hudson dress while elegantly accentuating her features," says Priano. For starters, she recommends stocking the bathroom with strong, long-lasting products such as: SexyHair Spray & Play Harder Hairspray, Edrée Blow Dry Brush in olive green, Bellami 26" Silk Seam Hair Extensions in dark brown.

"Replicating Rachel's sleek ponytail at home is definitely doable with the right tools and technique; I use SexyHair all the time for long-lasting styles, and I love the new tools from Edrée. 'With a blow-dry brush like the Bella, I can easily create volume at home.' Then, tie everything into a high ponytail, smooth out any stray hair, and the ponytail is done.

For makeup, Aaron opted for a full face of Stila. Aaron exclusively tells us, "Rachel's stunning red Sergio Hudson dress was the perfect match for her glowing skin, rosy, three-dimensional cheeks, flirty lashes, and vibrant lips." 'We wanted a bold yet fresh makeup look to go with her form-fitting dress.'

Whether or not Brosnahan will win a Golden Globe for the final season of her fan-anticipated show remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: she won the red carpet.
