What's the secret behind Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift's roar?
Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are best friends, and best friends talk about everything.
Gomez leaned over to let Swift in on an inaudible secret at last night's Golden Globes, causing a shocked gasp from the Midnights diva and Kelly Sperry (Miles Teller's wife) who was sitting next to her.
The clip goes viral and there is no sound to decipher what Gomez said, but the amateur Selenator lip reader thinks he knows what the hot goth was.
This is what some fans believe was said:
"'I said I wanted a picture with him and she [Kylie Jenner] said no' - Selena Gomez
"'With Timothy? 11]
"*selena nods*"
Basically, people believe that Kylie Jenner didn't let Gomez take pictures with her new boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, but it's very easy for people on the internet to run with the juiciest story over the truth so take this with a huge grain of salt.
The context here is that Gomez and Jenner had some allEGED beef last year when fans believe the reality star made fun of the Rare Beauty founder for over-laminating her eyebrows (by her own admission).
Both women rapidly shut down the rumor and Jenner said, "This is a reach. There is no shade on Serena so far and I have not seen her eyebrow post! You guys are making something out of nothing." I wrote.
Gomez supported her, writing, "Agree @kyliejenner all unnecessary. I'm a fan of Kylie!" He commented.
All of this happened within the larger context of Gomez's alleged feud with Haley Bieber, who is again a close friend of Jenner.
Both Gomez and Bieber begged fans at the time to stop creating factions and drama; in March 2023, the "Single Soon" singer wrote on Instagram Stories, "Haley Bieber contacted me and let me know she was receiving death threats and such hateful negative She let me know that she was receiving death threats and such hateful negative words," he wrote.
"This is not something I support. No one should have to experience hate and bullying.
"I have always advocated for kindness and I really wish this would stop."
Then in April, Bieber wrote I like to make jokes about how I feel."
"But I can honestly say that since 2023 began, I have had some of the saddest and most painful moments of my adult life. I know many others feel the same way.
