What did Jennifer Lawrence say to the camera last night when her name was read out at the Golden Globe Awards?

Jennifer Lawrence is no stranger to bringing humor to awards ceremonies. At last night's Golden Globes, when her name was read as a nominee for Best Female Actor in a Musical or Comedy (she was nominated for her role in "No Hard Feelings"), Lawrence said as the camera panned to her, "If I don't win, I'm leaving." She mouthed the words. Then she extended her thumb in the air and seemed to point to the door. (You can check out the moment here.)

Well, in the end, Lawrence didn't win, but she didn't leave either. When Emma Stone took the stage for "Poor Things," Lawrence not only didn't hold a grudge (sorry, but she had to), she showed overwhelming support for the category's winner. After presenters Michelle Yeoh and Naomi Watts called Stone's name, Lawrence applauded Stone with a standing ovation and "even showed some emotional expressions as Stone took the stage," Us Weekly reported.

The two women have been friends for years after meeting through their mutual co-star Woody Harrelson, the magazine reported. Lawrence co-starred with Harrelson in the film "The Hunger Games," and Stone co-starred with Harrelson in "Zombieland. She texted me that Woody gave her my number," Lawrence told Vanity Fair in 2016. I replied, 'Fuck off!' ' and I wrote back. We've been really good friends ever since."

Stone's side said that being friends with Lawrence initially "made my ego go crazy": "She's so amazing and vibrant and talented. She is so wonderful, vibrant, and talented. She is so wonderful, vibrant, and talented. Then I cooled down and remembered that we are very different and that there is a place for everyone. We both really love each other and care about each other as people, beyond being actors. I fully support her in regards to her work and I feel the same from her.

Joining Stone and Lawrence in the department are Fantasia Barrino, Natalie Portman, Margot Robbie, and Alma Peysti. Lawrence has received six Golden Globe nominations and won three for Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, and Joy. This is Stone's second Globe win, following his win for "La La Land". Interestingly, Stone was nominated last night for Best Female Performance in a Television Series - Drama for her work in "The Curse" and could have won a double, but unfortunately that award went to Sarah Snook for "Succession."
