When Ayo Edebiri was asked about Jeremy Allen White's ad, she gently reminded him that he was her colleague
Ayo Edebiri wants people to stop asking about her "The Bear" co-star Jeremy Allen White's very sexy Calvin Klein underwear ad.
At Sunday's Golden Globe Awards, where Edevili won best actress in the TV series musical comedy category, an Access Hollywood reporter asked, "Speaking of The Bear, when this was released, before pulling out a still photo of White in his underwear, What did you think?
Standing next to her during the interview was her Abbott Elementary School-era Edebiri co-star, Kinta Branson, who said, "Jeremy, put it away!" I said.
Edebiri, on the other hand, clearly flinched when shown the photo. He's my colleague.
In other words, the ad is really quite NSFW, although the point was made.
Some commenters thought the exchange was really funny, with one writing, "She's trying to call HR."
"That's a big brother/sister response," observed another.
"He may be your colleague, but he's not mine!" said one of the ad's biggest fans.
Other than being asked a super awkward question about a colleague, Edevili is now a huge success.
In addition to his appearances in The Bear and Abbott Elementary, he has recently appeared in the films Bottoms and Theater Camp, and has several other projects in the works. I'm very excited about all of this!
