Amanda Seyfried talks about reuniting with most of the original "Mean Girls" cast for a commercial shoot.

In November, Seyfried reunited with her former "Mean Girls" cast mates for a Wal-Mart Black Friday commercial. In addition to Seyfried, who returned as Karen Smith, the cast included Lindsay Lohan, Lacey Chabert, Daniel Franzese, and Rajiv Surendra.

On Variety and Entertainment Tonight's 2024 Golden Globes digital pre-show, Seyfried called the commercial a "dream reunion."

"It was like a pinch," she said." We ..... .for two days, just catching up a lot. It was really nice."

On the topic of another reunion or even a sequel (hint, hint), Seyfried said, "It's not up to me, sadly, but if it were, yeah, I think we'd all really enjoy a little more time together."

Well, Seyfried seems to be on board for a proper "Mean Girls 2," and we know Lohan is, too. Who else?

Well, Rachel McAdams (who played the iconic Regina George) did not participate in the commercial, but says she is open to returning to her role.

"I don't know, to be honest, I wasn't that excited about doing the commercial," she said. I mean, the movie sounds really interesting, but I'd never done a commercial before, and it just didn't feel right for me. And I didn't... I didn't know people were doing them. Of course, I wanted to go to the 'Mean Girls' reunion and hang out with the Plastics, but I didn't know that until later."

Will we see her in the new "Mean Girls" musical? Sadly not.

It's heartbreaking! However, we did get to see several "Mean Girls" alumni at last night's premiere. Unfortunately, Seyfried and McAdams were not in attendance, so we'll have to wait a little longer for their next reunion!

Seyfried, however, recently saw "Mamma Mia! 's on-screen mother, Meryl Streep, by chance and enjoyed another reunion. Donna and Sophie are together again, and for a brief moment, all is right with the world again.
