Winter is finally here. It's only natural to don our coziest (and cutest) armor to protect ourselves from the bone-chilling cold while we battle through the next few months. Alas, we have no choice but to put on warm outerwear and cozy boots (even if they look like robes and slippers) and own it. Nicole Kidman looked like cozy armor in her wrap coat and UGG boots.

Kidman is a lover of very relaxed yet cool ensembles, as seen, for example, in her flawless airport attire, and her latest look is no exception. On a trip to New York City, the award-winning actor looked ready to take on the chilly East Coast weather in a light gray wrap-style wool coat that covered a tie-neck blouse. We don't know what the rest of the outfit looked like, but Kidman covered her bare legs with sheer tights.

As for shoes, Kidman bucked the trend of celebrities going out in UGGs, which have made a huge comeback in the past few years. Think of this look as a take on wearing a robe or slippers inside the house, but wear them outside as well. Even if your bottom is in full view and you have a change of shoes in your purse, you'll still be comfortable coming and going between venues. Genius!

We don't know what Kidman is doing in New York, but her former co-star Reese Witherspoon just confirmed at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards that season three of HBO's hit series Big Little Lies is currently in production, so perhaps probably gearing up to reprise her role as Celeste Wright. Kidman also admitted not long ago that there will be a new season of the series.
