ICYMI, Gomez was photographed speaking animatedly to Swift and Sperry at one point during Sunday's awards ceremony, and both women seemed shocked about their friend's revelation. Fans, amateur lip-readers, were convinced that Gomez told Jenner that she had asked for a photo with boyfriend Chalamet and that the Kylie Cosmetics founder had said no.

However, E! News asked on Instagram, "Was Selena Gomez gossiping about Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet at the Golden Globe Awards? It's none of anyone's business."

When the Instagram account @commentsbycelebs posted a screenshot of the comment, people brought in gossip and jokes.
