Drew Barrymore is the queen of reminiscing.

The actress just posted a video on Instagram of herself rewatching The Wedding Singer, which happened to be on TV. She co-starred in the 1998 rom-com with longtime co-star and friend Adam Sandler.

In the video, Barrymore says to Sandler, "We made a very good movie, and I'm very proud of it. Happy New Year! What year was it, 1922, when we met in the newsroom?" Here she paused to cackle at her own joke.

Barrymore continued.

"It started this morning and I was on my way to a yoga class, but I'm taking the next, much later class so I can watch it."

She captioned the post." I love @adamsandler. As I was getting ready to leave the house, 'The Wedding Singer' came on the TV and I knew I had to watch it to take advantage of the moment."

Sandler said, "Love u always Drew. happy new year."

Barrymore's sensitivity and vulnerability is one of the reasons she is so beloved.

For example, in 2022, the talk show host posted a video of herself laughing in the rain and loving life, and people went crazy over it.

And in 2023, Barrymore made headlines again when she comforted an audience member on "The Drew Barrymore Show" who was overcome with emotion after meeting her idol. She hugged her, sat on her lap, and told that fan, "I'm so happy to see you.
