Many stars have had Marilyn Monroe moments over the years, including Selena Gomez at last weekend's Golden Globe Awards. But I don't think anyone has experienced a Marilyn Monroe moment while wearing cowboy boots and holding the latest iPhone.

Emily Ratakowski experienced her own dress in the wind moment. She must have been shivering as she walked through New York City, keeping warm in an oversized leather jacket.

Ratakowski paired this skirt with a plain black T-shirt and tan cowboy boots. She has proven to be a big fan of cowboy boots and wears them all year round for any occasion.

She finished her outfit with a chunky necklace, silver hoops, classic sporty black sunglasses, and a black pleated leather handbag slung over her shoulder.

The look is stylish yet understated, which is a bit surprising for January.

Aside from this skirt-fluttering-in-the-wind moment, Ratakowski actually has quite a lot in common with the late Marilyn.

Both Rataikowski and the actress were overly sexualized. For Ratakowski, it was modeling and her appearance in the "Blurred Lines" music video. Ratakowski still regularly posts NSFW photos on Instagram, but it is through her own agency and as a way to reclaim her body.

Monroe unfortunately never had the opportunity to do this and never saw Instagram or any social media platform.

We can only hope that more female celebrities will get the opportunity to celebrate their bodies on their own terms, as in the recent campaign for Rihanna's brand Savage X Fenty.

In the meantime, Rutakowski, put on some tights, it's freezing just looking at you!
