David Beckham Proves There's Nothing Better Than a Father's Love for His Daughter in Video Shot During Paris Fashion Week
David Beckham loves his only daughter Harper and isn't afraid to show it. Prior to his wife Victoria's Paris Fashion Week show on Friday (the collection was ballet-inspired, "Hello" reports), Beckham released a video of him kissing 12-year-old Harper after she had her makeup done. According to The Independent, Taylor Swift's "Style" played in the background, and Harper shared a sweet father-daughter moment as she used a makeup brush on her father's forehead and cheeks. Beckham captioned the video, "My little makeup artist is excellent and has a great playlist," and tagged Swift. He then added, "I'm on my way, mama," before tagging Victoria. At the show, Beckham and Harper sat in the front row alongside Cruz Beckham, Brooklyn Beckham, and Nicola Peltz Beckham, with Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Vogue's Anna Wintour also in attendance, and Kendall Jenner closed the show, Access reports. (The Beckhams are parents to daughter Harper and sons Brooklyn and Cruz, as well as son Romeo.)
Harper is no stranger to fashion shows. Her first show was in 2014, when she was just two years old, sitting next to Wintour at New York Fashion Week. At her mother's most recent show, Harper wore a white slip dress with £840 Prada mule heels, according to the Daily Mail.
Later, Beckham returned to Instagram to praise his wife: "The calm after the storm," he wrote." Very proud of you as always ...... Once again, you have surpassed even your high standards.
And some criticized Beckham's love for his daughter because the world cannot appreciate beautiful things. Regarding the Beckhams' affection for their four children (David and Victoria), he said, "I am very affectionate towards my children. That's how I and Victoria grew up, and that's how we treat our children," he replied. He continued, "We want to show our children love and we protect, care for, and support them." He added, "Having children is the most special thing in the world." [We need more fathers like Beckham. There is no such thing as too much love.
