Is the "this Barbie is red hot" joke non-classical at this point? Rae showed off her fabulous dark red hair color at Chloé's Spring/Summer '24 runway show on the banks of the Seine.

The taut hairstyle, which was carried on the top of her crown, featured cascading waves that fell down the Insecure creator's back. While her roots remained their natural brown, the base of her ponytail turned a deep auburn and was curled with hair to enhance the look.

Rae's deep copper hair is nothing new (we've seen it many times before and loved it), but this iteration was something special. I was mesmerized by the styling as well as the impact of the curls. Her red hair was a perfect complement to a fluffy, belted black and white maxi dress from Chloé's Fall/Winter '23 collection. The wool and gauze textures make this dress even more fabulous. Princess-like is the perfect description.

Pearl chain earrings, a simple cat eye, and the longest lashes matched Rae's matte, neutral-toned makeup (and a dash of highlighter) to show off her flawless complexion. Her lips were painted a deep burgundy that almost matched her hair, with a patent leather sheen.

Issa Rae first came into the spotlight in 2016, when her hugely popular YouTube series Awkward Black Girl was picked up by HBO and turned into Insecure. Since then, the actress/writer/creator has been featured on "Lovebird," "The Photograph," and (of course!) She has remained a Hollywood regular, appearing in films such as the popular Summer 2023 film "Barbie."
