Katy Perry Featured in New Fragrance Campaign for Dolce & Gabbana Beauty
Creating an attractive perfume campaign is no ordinary task. Who is it for? What should it communicate? How do you prove with simple images that a fragrance is delicious? It is the actual scent formulation.
Not surprisingly, Dolce & Gabbana Beauty has once again worked its magic with Katy Perry as the face of its new fragrance, Devotion Eau de Parfum. An ode to what the brand calls "the most classic emotion of all time," Devotion Eau de Parfum is Dolce&Gabbana Beauty's first luminous gourmand fragrance. According to Dolce & Gabbana Beauty, Cresp's new creation "skillfully captures the essence of Italianness in the creation of a fragrance of exquisite contrasts, luminous in its top notes and sensual in its base notes.
Available in 30, 50, and 100 ml sizes, Devotion's refillable glass bottles are adorned with a sacred metal heart that symbolizes the brand's values and the perfume's promise of an "enveloping, seductive, reassuring" sensory journey.
Shot in Italy, the campaign, which features the 38-year-old "Never Really Over" singer floating on Capri's Marina Grande and its signature pier, launched on Monday, October 2. In the photos and short film, a sunbathing Perry sashays through the streets (and sparkling waters) of Capri and locks eyes with a young local fisherman, played by Italian actor and model Michele Morrone. Even as Perry meets the locals and spends all day admiring the sights, he cannot forget the fisherman. Isn't this what fate (and devotion) is all about?
