Gwyneth Paltrow publicly comments on ex-fiance Brad Pitt's luxury skincare line.
It seems like every celebrity now has a beauty line, and surprisingly, Brad Pitt launched his luxury skincare line, Le Domaine, last year. (Products range from a $275 facial serum to a $77 cleanser, and incorporate the antioxidant power of grapes inspired by his vineyard, Chateau Miraval, where he is in a legal battle with ex-wife Angelina Jolie)
.
Pitt has a former fiancée, Gwyneth Paltrow, who knows a little about the actor-turned-entrepreneur and a little about beauty and skin care. In an interview with The New York Times, Paltrow revealed that she tried Pitt's Le Domaine to celebrate the 15th anniversary of her lifestyle company, Goop, which Page Six called "really beautiful."
Paltrow said that Pitt, whom she dated from 1994 to 1997 and co-starred with in the film "Seven," sent her some of his products, which she admitted: "It's delicious," she said of the line.
In September 2022, Pitt told British Vogue magazine that his products were partly inspired by Paltrow. I love what Gwyneth has done [with Goop]," he said. She's still a really dear friend, and she built this empire. She's always had curatorial qualities and it's been a great creative outlet for her."
[10After reading about "the healthy properties of grape skins," Pitt developed Le Domaine with Marc Perrin, integrating all manner of grapes into the line, including recycled wooden wine barrel caps, according to Page Six. The line contains "powerful ingredients extracted from Grenache seeds and Syrah and Mourvèdre seeds and skins," including two proprietary anti-aging ingredients, the British Vogue reported.
This is not the first time Paltrow has mentioned an ex-lover in recent times: on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast in May, Paltrow said, "Brad was like a lifelong lover because of the chemistry." And in a game of "F-, Marry, Kill," Paltrow chose Brad for the "F-" part.
