Any fashion lover or Princess Diana fan will have the late Princess Diana's motorcycle-short gym clothes burned into their brains.

Whether Taylor Swift had this in mind when she dressed up on October 3 remains a mystery, but in any case, the superstar almost exactly mimicked Princess Diana's fashion during her trip to New York.

While Diana often wore bike shorts, oversized graphic crew necks, sneakers, visible socks, and sunglasses to and from the gym, Swift went out in an oversized Daydreamer, a tribute to Shania Twain's hit song "Any Man of Mine" went out in an oversized T-shirt from She paired this ultra-cool piece with dark motorcycle shorts, green frilly socks from Free People, white New Balance sneakers, a Still Here dad cap, dark sunglasses, a Louis Vuitton monogrammed box bag, and a coral-red lipstick.

The Shania Twain shirt, which Diana would have loved, is especially significant amid rumors of a new relationship between Swift and Travis Kells; as Page Six noted, the song's lyrics could be interpreted as a disclaimer of sorts for Kells' benefit.

Swift was spotted wearing this ultra-cool athleisure ensemble outside Electric Lady Studios while with longtime friend Kelly Sperry, actress and wife of Miles Teller.

Sperry and Teller had previously appeared in Swift's music video for "I Bet You Think About Me" from Red (Taylor's Version), directed by Blake Lively.

At the time, Swift paid tribute to the couple on Instagram, writing, "I am so grateful to Miles for being my best dance partner and friend. And to @keleighteller, the coolest human being alive on the planet. The bride was willing to risk it all"
