Marie Claire recently reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stopped in Portugal for a secret romantic getaway before returning to their home in the United States after the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany, came to a close. (While in Portugal, Harry and Meghan apparently met Harry's cousin, Princess Eugenie, who now divides her time between Portugal and the UK.)

The Portuguese magazine Nova Gente reported that the couple traveled to the village of Meridades, near Lisbon, and that their visit was a "mega-secret" operation, and a short one at that. According to the magazine, Harry and Meghan spent three nights on the Iberian Peninsula, during which they visited the Costa Terra Golf and Ocean Club Resort.

However, it seems that there were other celebrities besides Harry, Meghan, and Eugenie. Chris Evans and his new wife Alba Baptista spent time with the Sussexes in Portugal, "Page Six" reports, but the hangout was not planned in advance: the newlyweds, who were married on the 9th of last month, "were abroad in Europe, staying in bars and The outlet reports that the newlyweds "bumped into the royal family in a bar or restaurant while abroad in Europe.
