As the days get a little chilly, the chic crowd spares no time to transform into fall hairstyles. Sleeves are getting longer and hair is getting shorter. Always on-trend, Selena Gomez sported a long bob at Rare Beauty's inaugural Rare Impact Fund Benefit on Wednesday, October 4. In true superstar fashion, she showed off the hairstyle in multiple outfits for the first time, all shared via her Instagram stories.

In two mirror selfies posted in quick succession, Gomez straightened her new shoulder-length bob with a middle part and changed from a silver sequined gown to a black top and jeans. In both photos, her hair was sleek and sharp, with a salon-return shine and no parting in sight.

In another post, a selfie shared by model and Selena's best friend Connor Franklin Carpenter, the "Single Soon" singer was seen wearing yet another outfit: a purple orchid-shaped top. Chandelier earrings and corresponding warm-toned eyeshadow (almost certainly made with Rare Beauty products) completed the look.

"One thing about us ... We're going to cut our hair at the same time," Franklin wrote on her Instagram Story along with a kissy face emoji. Gomez's hair remained straight, while Franklin's hair bounced up at the ends and was parted deeply on the side.

While her best friends knew what they were getting into beforehand, Gomez's cut came as a surprise to fans. The new look comes just days after the Only Murder in the Building actress and her signature long hair took Paris Fashion Week by storm when she showed off her newly renovated Rare Beauty office on Instagram.
