Just when you thought Zendaya and Tom Holland couldn't get any cuter, they were dating at the animal shelter.
We thought Zendaya and Tom Holland couldn't get any cuter, but we were (happily) proven wrong. The lovey-dovey look of their outings together, Beyonce's Renaissance World Tour (twice!) and dates to events such as basketball games, etc. (Zendaya and Holland posted on their respective social media sites on Thursday holding puppies at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London. Holland's carousel included "close-ups of several adorably sleeping puppies and a photo of herself posing in a blue and white protective suit," People reports. Also included was a final photo of Zendaya cuddling with the puppies.
Zendaya also posted a video of the little puppy resting in her arms on her Instagram Story. She wrote on her story, "@Battersea puppy heaven. Along with another photo, she wrote, "Like....are you kidding me?" as she watched the puppy sleeping in her arms. .are you kidding me?" she wrote. She then posted another clip of her petting the puppy and wrote, "My little legs are moving lol. If Noones smells me she'll be mad @battersea," referring to her dog Noones, who also has her own Instagram account.
Battersea shared the couple's post on her Instagram story, writing, "Thanks for visiting us and supporting rescue @zendaya." And to Holland, "Thank you for visiting tomholland2013 they loved you!"
"Tom and Zendaya visited Battersea to learn more about the work we do to help shelter dogs and cats and meet the animals we currently have in our care," a spokesperson said in a statement to People. We were delighted to welcome them to Battersea." The animal rescue center has been in operation since 1860, and the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth was its patron for 60 years, having assumed that role in May 1956.
It is a rare glimpse into the private couple's love story. Zendaya told "Elle" earlier this year about her relationship, "I accept that part of my life is going to be public. As a person, I can't not live my life and love the people I love. But I can control what I share. It's about keeping the peace and owning things and not being afraid to be present at the same time. You can't hide. It's not fun either. I am navigating that now more than ever."
RE: control in what she chooses to share - we are so thankful it had to do with puppies.
