Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey: What's New from Last Week

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship appears to be going well.

The Midnights singer and the NFL pro player have been sparking dating rumors for the past few weeks, and after Swift attended two Kansas City Chiefs games in a row (September 24 vs. Bears and October 1 vs. Jets), there are plenty of updates from ~Sewell~ every Sunday! There seems to be.

Today is no different, except that the pop star did not show up for the Chiefs' game against the Minnesota Vikings yesterday (October 8).

This has several implications for the superstitious sports fan (and the familiar). Swift was present for two games that the Chiefs won against opponents, so there may have been a certain amount of nervousness about the outcome of yesterday's events.

Thankfully for Swift, she is busy and will not be able to watch all of her team's games.

However, according to Entertainment Tonight, there was a nail-biting moment when tight end Kelsey suffered a no-contact injury. He had to leave the pitch and receive medical attention, however, but was eventually able to return to the game and score a touchdown. All's well that ends well! (Insert "All Too Well" pun I'm too lazy to come up with here.)

As for Traylor's (currently a workshop-stage couple name) relationship, a source told Us Weekly that the two "talk every day." The source added, "Taylor really enjoys getting to know Travis; they take it one day at a time, but she has high expectations. What she likes about him is that he is just a regular nice guy. He is down to earth and unaffected by fame. She also thinks he's sexy."

You may have noticed that Swift's public appearance at the Kells game is sort of off-brand for her, a celebrity who has historically preferred to fly under the radar whenever possible. She's not hiding anymore. Taylor has decided not to hide anymore. She's going to be her authentic self and enjoy life. This is really great for her.
