Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift at the Chiefs game was "a lot of fun."

Ryan Reynolds, who is obviously a very successful actor (and sports club owner) in his own right, has spent a great deal of time answering questions about his and his wife Blake Lively's best friend, Taylor Swift, poor thing.

Still, Reynolds seems to be taking it on the chin, so I don't feel too bad reporting it.

ICYMI, the Green Lantern star and his wife, along with many other A-listers, including newly divorced Sophie Turner and Hugh Jackman (to be clear, these two are not divorced from each other), were in New Jersey on October 2 joined Swift at a Kansas City Chiefs game.

The sporting event attracted a lot of attention because it took place amid rumors of a romance between Swift and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and even non-sports fans tuned in and watched the game together. [Reynolds was asked on a recent red carpet how it felt to attend the game with Swift, and told Extra.

The actor further gave some background on why he is particularly pleased that people are now paying attention to football.

"I played football as a kid. I loved it. I love watching it. I'm going to keep watching it. It's a great sport. But soccer for me now is what we call soccer over here. When you're in Europe, you can't really call it 'soccer' in any form.

In 2021, Reynolds and fellow actor Rob McElhenny bought Welsh soccer/football club Wrexham A.F.C., and they subsequently took the club from the National League to the English Football League (via ESPN), a significant accomplishments.

As for Swift and Kelsey, things seemed to be picking up real fast between the two, but cooled down a bit this weekend.
