Beyoncé cheers on Taylor Swift at the premiere of her film "The Eras Tour"
Taylor Swift premiered a concert from her "Eras" film tour in Los Angeles on Wednesday: Beyoncé herself showed up to support the legendary performer. (The Eras and Renaissance tours are running concurrently, and both are making history in their own right.) [The two superstars posed together as they arrived at AMC at The Grove. At one point during the event, they also sat in the front row of the theater, enjoying popcorn from an Ella-themed box and photographing the adorable Boomerang.
Posting the clip on Instagram, Swift thanked Beyoncé for taking the time to appear.
"I'm so happy because there's no way of knowing what my life would have been like without Beyonce's influence," Swift wrote.
"She has taught me and all the artists here to break the rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She is the guiding light of my career and her appearance tonight was like a fairy tale.
Comments were disabled, but I'm sure many celebs rallied to praise this sweet "women supporting women" moment.
At the premiere, Swift positively stunned in a sky blue strapless high-low gown by Oscar de la Renta in 1989 (Taylor's version) with floral textures and cut-outs and matching heeled sandals.
She accessorized with a white gold diamond ring by Akilis and an aquamarine ring by Annabella Chang.
The film, Ella's Tour, will open today (October 12) at 6 p.m. instead of its original release date (October 13)." Due to unprecedented demand, early access screenings of The Eras Tour Concert Film will begin THURSDAY in the US and Canada!" Swift wrote on Instagram.
