The just-launched Hermès eyeshadow is the epitome of luxury beauty
Luxury beauty products need to check certain boxes: perfect formulas, rich colors, gorgeous packaging, and a surprise element worthy of an elegant aesthetic. That's exactly what we can expect from Hermès Beauty's latest two new products: on October 13, the fashion house unveiled six different shades of the Ombre de Hermès eyeshadow quartet and six deep, intense shades of the brand's new Revitalizing Care mascara ...
I get it: there are plenty of gorgeous, luxurious eyeshadows out there, but none are as fancy as the Hermès eyeshadows. As an example, each palette is artistically designed (look at those shapes!) and color schemes aside, they are inspired by the luxury fabrics that the brand employs in its expensive bags and clothes.
The matte shadows are inspired by silk chiffon, the satin-finish shadows by silk twill (FYI, you get a twillie tie when you buy the brand's twillie eau de parfum), and the shimmering shadows by silk lamé. I like to apply my shadows with a Hermes eyeshadow brush. I like to apply it with a Hermès eyeshadow brush because it brings out more of the luxurious look."
However, applying it with your fingers creates a more intense finish.
"This collection genuinely and strongly reflects the essence and quintessence of Hermès," says Creative Director Gregoris Pilpilis. 'Fantasy, surprise, audacity, sincerity, and ethics. We focused on the texture of the shadows to make them manageable for those unfamiliar with eye makeup. The thin, soft texture of the powder eye shadows can be thickened or thinned while providing comfort."
[8If you're looking to further your eye makeup with Hermes products, now is your lucky day. The brand's first, all-new mascara is very appealing. It comes in traditional black, deep brown, maroon, deep blue, dark green, and violet, each inspired by the fashion house's iconic color range. The tube is gorgeous, but what sets it apart from the rest is the formula that treats the lashes. Formulated with nourishing and sensitive eye-friendly ingredients such as moringa butter and shea butter, the mascara focuses as much on moisturizing and helping the lashes as it does on lengthening each individual lash.
Color options abound, but this affordable luxury is not to be missed. See the new Hermes Beauty line below.
