A member of the Royal Family who continues to be a "bridge" for Prince Harry

It has long been known that Prince Harry and his cousin Princess Eugenie are very close. Harry is also said to be bonding with Eugenie's sister, Princess Beatrice, but because of the ongoing tension between Harry and his brother Prince William (and Prince William's wife Kate) and his father, King Charles, Eugenie is Harry's "bridge" to the rest of the royal family. Eugenie continues to be Harry's "bridge" to the rest of the royal family, "Hello" reports. Harry and Eugenie have attended the Super Bowl together, were seen together at Charles' coronation this past May, and Harry and Meghan Markle visited Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank in Portugal last month, where they reportedly live in part.

"For Harry, Eugenie is a royal he can count on," says Dr. Anthony Wallersteiner, a family friend and president of Street Child, one of Sarah Ferguson's charities. (She is Eugenie's mother, but you know that.) Wallersteiner is also the principal of Jack Brooks Bank, where Eugenie and I were married five years ago this month.) ) "Those cousins are very close, which I think is a good thing, and I think Eugenie is a great bridge between Harry and the rest of the family.

Wallersteiner attended Eugenie and Jack's wedding at St. George's Chapel, also in Windsor, just five months after Harry and Meghan's May 2018 wedding. Of Eugenie and Jack's wedding, Wallersteiner said. It was wonderful to see the entire Royal Family come together to celebrate Jack and Eugenie's wedding. It was also great to have Harry and Meghan there. Of course, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were there too. A lot has changed for the Royal Family in the last five years, but this was really a return to a time of togetherness and family bonding."

It is unreal how much can change in five years.

One of the forces that has not changed is the tight bond between Harry and Eugenie, as documented in the pages of Harry and Meghan's eponymous Netflix documentary (in which Eugenie is seen playing on the beach with her son Prince Archie) and in Harry's memoir, Spare. Eugenie was one of the first to learn of Harry and Meghan's romance in 2016 and was one of the first royal family members to meet Meghan; of their meeting, Harry wrote in Spare, "I remember Eugene hugging Meg as if they were sisters. I remember (Harry's friend) Charlie giving me the thumbs up. I remember (Harry's friend) Charlie giving me the thumbs up.
