Meghan Markle writing her memoirs is "very problematic" for the royal family, especially Princess Kate, a royal expert said.

After Prince Harry's shocking memoir Spare earlier this year, the royal family is wondering if Princess Meghan could also write a memoir. According to royal expert and author Phil Dampier, if Meghan were to write a confessional book, he thinks the Princess of Wales would be particularly in the spotlight: "Was Meghan hostile to Kate or welcoming from the start?

If that happens, Dampier says, Harry and Meghan can forget any hope of reconciliation with Prince William and Kate. 'It's unlikely that William and Kate will ever speak to Harry again. (William and Kate will never speak to Harry again," he says (the relationship between the three is said to already have cracks in it from spares and before). 'She [Meghan] will not directly criticize the late Queen. But she could reveal private conversations, which would be very troubling for the King, Queen, and Crown Prince."

Last month, royal author Tom Bower said that Princess Meghan was writing a book, which would "generate a lot of money." To date, there has been no official confirmation of a memoir.

"Harry's 'Spare' was a bestseller, and Princess Meghan's will probably sell even more," Dampier said.

"It would also be an ideal opportunity to give Meghan's view of what happened to her when she met Harry, fell in love, became part of the most famous family in the world, and then left."

As for the potential royal reaction, "The royal family will assume the worst and brace themselves for further revelations. The royal family will assume the worst and brace themselves for further revelations. The royal family will be deeply hurt, but they will be silent and soak it up."
