Meghan Markle will do the same thing with the British royal family "in the U.S." and "bigger," sources say
Meghan Markle famously signed with Hollywood talent agency WME this year, but no projects have yet been realized through the new deal.
According to one anonymous source who spoke to OK! one of the problems WME is facing in finding projects for the Duchess of Sussex is the fact that she and Prince Harry are kind of a package deal, but only the Duchess has a contract with WME, creating an apparent dilemma ...
"Meghan has a contract with WME, but Harry does not. They handle the couple's images, but Meghan is their only client," the source said.
Commenting further on some avenues the agency may explore, the source said, "Some projects are coming in that are not appropriate for Meghan because it would mean being pulled away from Harry."
"Another project has been put on hold because it would be out of character for Harry to be involved in that project. That is the dilemma they are facing. It is not easy.
As for what Meghan will do now that she has a big Hollywood agent, sources claim that she will not be returning to acting anytime soon.
"There will be no concentration on acting or building Meghan's career around becoming a movie star," they affirmed.
"Everyone knows that is not the right path for the royal family. Meghan will focus more on philanthropy, speaking engagements, endorsements, and appearances. Consider doing what the Royal Family is doing in the U.K., in the U.S., to a greater degree."
One of the Sussexes' ongoing projects is to serve as producers on the film adaptation of Carly Fortune's best-selling novel "Meet Me at the Lake."
