Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship with the royal family is now dire as hell.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly not spoken to Prince William in years, have not been seen at Balmoral this summer, and will almost certainly miss Christmas at Sandringham.

Basically, as one royal expert recently commented, at this point they are sort of intentionally further distancing themselves from the royal family (though it should be noted for the Sussex haters that Prince William is not exactly stooping to making peace with them either! )

"Whether they are intentionally trying to widen the rift is debatable. What is certain is that they are doing nothing to bridge the gap," said royal commentator Jenny Bond, OK!

"Princess Meghan did not have time to come to England with Harry for the Well Child Awards because she had to deal with the children. But after the Invictus Games, they went straight to Portugal to visit Eugenie.

Bond had harsh words to say about the Sussex couple. 'You both need to look at yourselves,' she continued. 'Perhaps only Eugenie knows if they are willing to mend the rift with the rest of the family. But so far there is no indication at all that they intend to do so."

This was Bond's response to one PR expert's recent comment: they have voiced their desire for privacy and independence, but their actions are ...... could be interpreted as a deliberate move to maintain a disconnect with the Royal Family," Kieran Elsby told the Mirror.

Before Spare was released in January, Prince Harry said he was waiting for his father or brother to take the first steps toward reconciliation. However, it appears that certain royals, especially Prince William, are waiting for Prince Harry's first move, so the whole family may be at a standstill for some time yet.
