Cameron Diaz makes a rare TV appearance to show off her brand new lob.
Since retiring from acting in 2014, Cameron Diaz has kept her public appearances to a minimum. Well, the least she can do with her very famous family. Still, the 51-year-old is back in the spotlight, reminding us all of her charms, and on Wednesday, October 25, Diaz made a rare appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Technically, it was to discuss her family and her experience on the Elas Tour, but she gave us a unique talking point when she appeared with a new hairdo: a blunt lob hairstyle that matched her delicate blonde locks beautifully.
Diaz paired her new shoulder-length hairstyle, styled straight with blunt edges and a middle part, with a black suit, black stilettos, and small gold hoop earrings. Her lips are an orange-red, and her eyes are a simple smokey shadow.
Her new lob was a bit longer than the iconic cut Diaz wore in 2006's "Holiday" and was quite an inch longer than her iconic "There's Something About Mary" bob. Nostalgia aside, it is worth noting that this cut is a significant change from her hairstyle earlier this year. For her sister-in-law Sofia Richie's April wedding, Diaz wore her hair long and curly.
The actress has previously opened up about her modest beauty regimen, revealing on Michelle Visage's March 2022 podcast, Rule Breakers, that she rarely looks in the mirror these days, let alone wash her face. 'I'm like wild. I'm like a wild animal, I'm like a wild beast. I don't care, literally, like the last thing I think about on a daily basis, maybe not at all during the day, is "How do I look?" It is."
