While it's nice to get a spring haircut, fall is the perfect time to give your hair a makeover. Taking a cue from nature's deepening hues, it makes sense to go a little darker with hair color. Perhaps that's why deep auburn and maroon are the hues of the season. Maria Obama is also on board with this color.

On Tuesday, October 24, the 25-year-old former presidential daughter made a public appearance with an all-new hair color. Her hair, softly curled in a middle part, flowed down to the middle of her back as she left a Los Angeles movie theater.

Obama paired this new hair color with a gray tank, soft-cream cardigan, and pinstripe pants. She wore chunky black leather (or pleather!) boots and a corresponding slouchy tote bag to finish the look.

Most recently, the Harvard graduate wore her hair braided and very long. As her style continues to evolve, Obama must be relieved to know that she has plenty of beauty inspiration, from her mother to her former boss Halle Berry to her sister Sasha. Nevertheless, her look is completely her own. We can't wait to see what she does next.
