Taylor Swift Skips Travis Kelce's Latest Match, and Chiefs Lose
Taylor Swift skipped Travis Kelce's latest game for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Some of the most superstitious NFL fans were beginning to wonder if the Chiefs' winning streak had anything to do with Swift's attendance (Kelce was injured in the previous game she skipped, but was eventually allowed back on the field).
Unfortunately for Swift, who leads a busy life and cannot be there every time, superstitious views would not be quelled during the Chiefs' latest result, a 9-24 loss against the Denver Broncos on October 29, when the singer was not there.
Swift's "Shake It Off" began playing after the game at Denver's Mile High Stadium's Empower Field.
A source previously told Us Weekly that Swift does not attend every Chiefs game. 'Taylor doesn't want to get in Travis' way.
"She knows it's not easy to show up to his games. It's a spectacle. She wants to support him, balance him, and at the same time not get in the way of the team."
The loss came just days after Kelce was spotted on the Jumbotron at the October 27 Rangers World Series game, rocking out to "Shake It Off," and the footage sent Swiffey into a frenzy.
"A confident man standing tall and unashamed, never thought I'd see the day, happy for Tay," someone commented on the video of Kels' little dance. Hehehe.
