Sarah Ferguson, who once appeared on "Friends," shares a moving tribute to Matthew Perry
Sarah Ferguson paid a touching tribute to Matthew Perry, who died over the weekend at the age of 54.
The Duchess of York, known commonly as Fergie, once made a cameo appearance on Perry's hit show Friends. In this episode, Chandler and Joey explore London before Emily and Ross's wedding and meet and take a picture with the Duchess.
Along with a photo with the cast of Friends, the Duchess said, "I remember how thrilled I was to meet a natural talent, a comedian, and a wonderful actor. It is a tragedy to lose you so early in life. Matthew, may you rest in peace: ...... You brought joy and laughter to so many."
"Lovely tribute, Sarah. Thanks for remembering the good times," commented one.
"So sad, bless his beautiful soul. May he fly free with the angels," said another.
Ferguson was just one of many public figures who paid tribute to Perry after the tragic news of his passing. [Selma Blair said, "We all loved Matthew Perry. Every day. I loved him unconditionally. And he me. And I was broken. Heartbroken. Sweet dreams. Sweet dreams." [Matthew Perry's death is shocking and sad. I will never forget the schoolyard games we used to play and I will never forget the joy the world brought him. Thanks for the laughs, Matthew. You were loved.
