Next year will mark 30 years since the six cast members of "Friends" met, but the five remaining members are "reeling" from the loss of their beloved "brother" after Matthew Perry died over the weekend, Page Six reports.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer are preparing to release a joint statement after Perry was found dead in his L.A. home on Saturday.

"The performers are reeling from the loss of their brother. Matty was their brother," an industry insider said. ." said an industry insider.

The hit series ran for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004 and not only propelled all six cast members to stardom, but also forged lifelong friendships. Perry, who had a professed struggle with drug and alcohol addiction, was especially close to Aniston after filming ended nearly 20 years ago.

"She was the one who reached out to me the most," Perry told Diane Sawyer last year. 'I am so grateful to her.' Perry also revealed in his 2022 memoir, Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing, that it was Aniston who first confronted him when his substance abuse was revealed.

"The whole cast is close. 'We've been together through the best of times and the worst of times. When Matty got sick, they protected him. And when Matty got sick, they protected him.

Over the weekend, Perry's family released a statement on the devastating loss, saying, "We are heartbroken at the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother. Matthew brought so much joy to the world as an actor and friend. You all meant so much to him and we thank you for your tremendous love."
