Justin Timberlake has officially left the country, or at least flown to Mexico with his family.

The singer landed in Cabo San Lucas yesterday in a private jet and was spotted holding his second son, Phineas. It was Timberlake's first public appearance since Spears' confessional book, The Woman in Me, was released a week ago.

Since then, Timberlake has closed the comments section of his entire Instagram account, Page Six reported. Unfortunately, the Internet is a terrible thing, so the invective now seems to have been directed at Beer, and while the comments she could leave on her page were limited, they were not completely disabled.

Timberlake has not publicly commented on the book, but in February 2021, he shared a lengthy Instagram post in which he apologized for his past treatment of Spears and Janet Jackson, with whom he performed at the 2004 Super Bowl." I understand that I was not up to par in these and many other moments and that I benefited from a system that condones misogyny and racism. I want to apologize especially and separately to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson."

Also in 2021, Timberlake posted on X (the platform formerly known as Twitter) in support of ending Spears' 13-year conservatorship, which occurred in November 2021. She wrote: "It doesn't matter how long ago it happened, good or bad past, ...... What is happening to her is not right. No woman should be restricted from making decisions about her body. She should not be held against her will or... No one should have to ask permission to have access to everything they have worked so hard for."
