Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are very mysterious these days: where their careers are headed, where they plan to live in the future, what their home life is like now.

This situation is perfect for a variety of rumors, and while some of the rumors (such as rumors of trouble in their marriage) are seemingly unfounded, there is apparently some truth to reports that they may be looking to move from their family home in Montecito to a new home in Malibu, near Los Angeles. It seems likely.

"They love life [in Montecito]," an anonymous source told Us Weekly.

"But it feels a little remote and out of the city."

Princess Meghan spent quite a bit of time growing up in Malibu, so it feels familiar to her. A source added, "She loves being by the beach, which is why she and Harry decided to move to Montecito."

While this is still just a possibility at this point, Malibu is "definitely on their radar," according to a source at Us Weekly.

Meanwhile, another source told the magazine that the Sussexes "fell in love with the area" when they stayed with friends, and they are "casually house hunting" in the upscale seaside town.

This is not the first time the Sussexes have reportedly considered living in Malibu.

In 2020, they were apparently considering buying a $7 million mansion in the city, but instead bought a house in Montecito.

We then briefly wondered if they would buy Mel Gibson's $15 million Malibu mansion (rise to the occasion!). . While this did not happen, it is clear that the Sussexes have a certain affinity for Malibu and may eventually move there.
