Where the heck is Kate Hudson's Sicily, or so she seems to have summed up, as she shared behind-the-scenes snaps from a recent family vacation that included "happiness and pasta."

According to People, Hudson took to Instagram to make us feel like we were on our own Sicilian vacation too, sharing a series of photos and clips of her "exploring" the Italian island.

Happiness and pasta? Hudson captioned her post. She continued, "Exploring with some of my favorite humans." One of the photos she shared on the social media platform Carousel was a nighttime selfie of Hudson carrying her only daughter, Lani, in front of the historic building.

Lani appeared in quite a few of the family vacation photos, "including one of her standing under an arched doorway and another of her and Hudson sitting on the beach, where the actress is seen eating tuna salad and sunbathing in an orange bikini top," People reported.

Lani is one of Hudson's three children; she also has two older sons, Ryder and Bingham. In one photo, Bingham stands on a car rack in a bleached buzz cut and Ryder is seen in the back getting into the car. Hudson shares Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson, Bingham with ex-fiance Matt Bellamy, and Lani with fiancé Danny Fujikawa.

"Other photos and clips show the family eating oysters and platters of pasta at a restaurant and views of buildings lining a typically beautiful Italian side street," People reported. Hudson also filmed the family spending time around the stone-paved patio and pool, showing fans Lani taking a dip in the pool while Fujikawa sat nearby."

Hudson seems to be having a great summer, and these snaps from Sicily are just a few of the vacation photos she recently shared. In an earlier photo, Hudson's sons posed together on the beach, while Fujikawa did a backflip off a nearby cliff. In another photo, all three of Hudson's children are together in a "sweet family selfie," the magazine wrote.

Before the family left for Sicily, Hudson celebrated her middle child Bing's 12th birthday in honor of his drumming skills: "Bing is 12 today!" She wrote. 'My drummer baby. My drummer. I love you!"
