Cardi B. throws a microphone at an audience member who poured a drink on her.

For some reason, certain concert fans have recently decided that throwing things at artists performing on stage is a good idea. Thankfully, most people who have witnessed this "trend" are firmly of the opinion - including the artists themselves - that this is a terrible idea and should be stopped.

Recently, during a Cardi B concert at Drey's Beach Club in Las Vegas, one person in the front row intentionally threw a drink at Cardi, and a video of the incident went viral.

The rapper appeared momentarily startled, but threw a microphone at the person before security intervened.

After Pop Crabbe posted the video on Twitter, people quickly shared their opinions about the whole ordeal.

"She did what she needed to do! People need to stop throwing things at performers!" One person said.

"People seriously need to stop throwing things at celebrities on stage!" Another agreed.

"This trend of attending sets just to attack female artists is disgusting.

This happened after Pink had someone's actual ashes thrown at her while performing in London, and after artists like Beebee Lesha, Eva Max, and Kelsea Ballerini were hurt by fans throwing things at them on stage.

Witnessing this trend, Adele told the audience exactly how she would react if an audience member tried to do this to her.

"Did you notice that people are now forgetting show etiquette and throwing shit at the stage?

"I dare you to throw something at me. I'll kill you."
