Angus Cloud's "Hibike! Euphonium" co-star reacts to his death: "I can't stop crying.

News broke yesterday that Euphoria star Angus Cloud passed away at the young age of 25, leaving Cloud's co-stars (and the world) in mourning. Storm Reid, Lucas Gage, Javon Walton, and others paid tribute to the young Hollywood talent who played Fesco "Fez" O'Neil, a colleague, friend, and beloved character.

Season 1 star Lucas Gage, whose "Hibiki! People" reported that he was one of the first cast members of "Euphoria" to respond publicly. Gage posted a group photo with Cloud on his Instagram story with the words "Rip @anguscloud" and a broken heart emoji; in Cloud's latest Instagram post a week ago, Gage also commented, "rest easy angus."

Storm Reid shared a photo of Cloud on his Instagram Story and wrote a heartbreaking message along with the image, "I can't stop crying."

Javon Walton, who memorably played Fez's brother Ashtray, posted a photo of the two brothers on screen embracing. He captioned the image "rest easy brother." Walton also shared another photo on his Instagram Story with the words "forever family." [Paula Marshall, who played Nate Jacobs' mother, Marcia Jacobs, said in a statement to People that Cloud was "kind, gracious, and very unique. I couldn't take my eyes off of him in the movie or on the set. How lucky we were to witness his work. Every take was full of truth. My heart aches."

"Euphoria" creator Sam Levinson said in a statement, "There was no one like Angus. He was too special, too talented, and too young to leave us so soon. He also struggled with addiction and depression, as many of us do. I hope he knew how much he touched the hearts of so many. I loved him. Always will. May God bless his family.

Zendaya then shared a touching Instagram post about Cloud, with touching words about her late co-star: "Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty of Angus (Connor)," she wrote next to a black and white photo of Cloud. Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty of Angus (Connor)," she wrote next to a black-and-white photo of Cloud. 'I am so grateful (and now I grin just thinking about it) to have known him in this life, to have called him brother, to have seen his warm, kind eyes and bright smile and heard his contagious cackling laughter. They can light up any room". But let me tell you, he was the best at it. I want to remember him as such. For all the endless light, love, and joy he always gave us. I will cherish every moment of it". He also wrote, "Grief is different for everyone, so please be kind and patient."

Sidney Sweeney also spoke up, writing on Instagram, "Angus was an open soul, had the kindest heart and filled every room with laughter. This is the hardest thing I have ever posted and I am struggling to find all the words. You will be missed more than you know. But I am so blessed to have known you in this lifetime and I know everyone who has met you feels the same way. This heartache is real and I just wanted to hug you one more time and run the 711. All my love is with you."

Co-stars like Alexa Demme, Barbie Ferreira, and Drake (executive producer of the show) also posted messages of support for Cloud.

"Hibike! Euphoria" debuted in 2019, and Fez won people's hearts as a drug dealer who favors Lou (played by Zendaya) and her friends, namely Lexie (Maude Apatow), with whom Fez developed a romance in the show's second season. Apatow recalls her co-star, calling him "the funniest person ever": "When I saw the schedule and knew we were going to work together, I was so excited. He was the sweetest guy and made everyone around him happy. He was truly the best. Words cannot describe how magical he was. It's heartbreaking. "Angus, it has been the greatest joy and blessing in my life to know and work with you. I will love you forever."

Going into the show's third season, Fez's future was a bit uncertain due to Ashtray's death and his own arrest (major spoiler alert - stop reading if you haven't seen the show); according to People, "Due to shooting constraints before the writers' and actors' strike, viewers will not be able to watch new episodes until 2025 not be able to see new episodes."

Cloud was discovered on the streets of Brooklyn and recruited to play Fez.

"Then they brought me back and showed me the role. In my head I thought they stopped me because I was going to be a star."

Cloud says he never wanted to be famous: "The difference between me and other famous people is that most of the time they were trying to be famous. The difference between me and other famous people is that most of the time they were trying to be famous. For me, it was too good an opportunity to say no. I never thought I would get this far."
