To Balmoral in Prince Harry's absence, "He must miss his family more than ever," says royal expert.

To Balmoral in Prince Harry's absence, "He must miss his family more than ever," says royal expert.

It's a strange summer for all the royals, as it's the first time many of them will be vacationing at Balmoral Castle without the late Queen Elizabeth (who died there last September).

But for Prince Harry, who left the UK in early 2020 and has struggled with family relationships ever since, this year is going to feel extra difficult. Not only will he not be going to Balmoral, but as far as we know, he will not be seeing his family.

"Harry is bound to miss his family more than ever, and I think he's going to miss not being back in England in the summer," royal expert Katie Nicole told Closer (via The Mirror).

The expert said that Harry had hoped that his "children would have a special relationship with their cousins" as he did in his own childhood, but sadly, it has become much more difficult for each child to have a relationship with each other recently, as he is reportedly not speaking to his brother William He added.

Nicole called Harry's new life "very different" from that of his royal relatives and said, "I have to wonder if that novelty is wearing off."

Meanwhile, in California, this year has been generally difficult for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Their contract with Spotify ended abruptly, and Harry's successful memoir, Spare, drew much criticism and created further rifts with the family.

Thankfully, the last point is said to be completely unfounded, and the Sussexes' marriage is reportedly going well.
