Meghan Markle may be "struggling to get a foothold in Hollywood," experts suggest.
Meghan Markle is in a bit of a strange transitional period regarding her career.
Her audio contract with Spotify recently ended, and in the spring she also signed with Hollywood talent agency William Morris Endeavor.
This has led to speculation about what the Duchess of Sussex will do next, including a possible return to acting, although some commentators believe this is not her best move.
"It's good business to have her on the show. It's also good for Meghan to have a top-notch agency," PR expert Kieran Elsby told the Mirror of Meghan's deal with WME.
"But it's been three months since the news broke and we haven't heard anything since. This is a longer period of time than would normally be expected for a new client to secure a contract, suggesting that Meghan may be struggling to gain a foothold in Hollywood."[9
Elsby continued to speculate on the cause of this delay.
"It is possible that Megan is still in the early stages of the project and does not want to announce anything until it is ready."
"It is also possible that she has been rejected from a potential partnership agreement, which could be disheartening and discourage her from sharing her plans with the public. It may make her hesitant to share her plans with the public."
As for what exactly these projects are, Elsby reminded us." She also said that she has said in the past that she is done with acting and that she is more interested in producing and creating content."
He said, "I am not sure how much more I can do.
He continued, "I think it is more likely that we will see her start a new lifestyle brand or start a foundation. That way she would be in control and would have an easier time finding sponsors because she basically needs them."
Indeed, there have been rumors for some time that Meghan would relaunch her lifestyle blog, The Tig, but the Duchess herself has not mentioned this.
Meghan and Harry, meanwhile, are dedicated to supporting causes they care about through the Archwell Foundation. As for the rest, we will have to wait and see what she does next.
