The Princess of Wales is never more in her element than when she is with her own three children and those she encounters at various royal functions. Last week, Kate was greeted adorably by a young fan. In a video posted on Instagram and captioned "The most beautiful princess." Kate immediately stops and waves before walking over to him.

"What is your name?" She asks the boy, and he suddenly becomes shy. Kate asks, "Did you have fun today?" He adds. She then looks at the toy in his hand and asks, "What's this? I love it."

Bending down to be at eye level with the boy, Kate smiles and adds, "It's nice to see you," before leaving.

Kate has been a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club since 2016, and Wimbledon has become an annual staple of her diary for that reason (and because she is an avid fan of the sport, and sports in general). Fun fact: On this outing to Wimbledon, Kate wore a Balmain blazer. This is the first time she has worn a Balmain blazer, despite the fact that the fashion brand is a favorite of the wealthy and stylish.

According to The Independent, the young admirer's name is Marcelito Avevaro and he is three years old. When Kate stopped by to talk to Marcelito and his mother, they were at a daycare facility where Marcelito's mother (herself a former tennis coach) was picking him up. Kate could have just waved and walked past, but her interaction with the boy shows why she is truly a "princess of children" and is never happier than when she is with them.
