Princess Charlotte of the British Royal Family made her Wimbledon debut along with her parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and her brother, Prince George. The men's singles final was between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic, with the Spanish-born Alcaraz winning.

The princess wore a blue dress with fluttering sleeves by the Spanish brand Friki. King Felipe of Spain was also in attendance, as he was cheering for Alcaraz. One Twitter fan suggested that Charlotte wore the dress to show her respect for King Felipe, and Charlotte chatted with the king in the royal box where she toured the event with her family.

After Alcaraz won, Charlotte took the opportunity to meet the champion, and the Mirror reported that the usually confident princess suddenly became shy and star-struck.
