The Princess of Wales is a regular at Wimbledon, having competed in this tennis tournament three times this year alone, and yesterday she brought her two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and her husband, Prince William. There, Kate displayed an "impressively resolute attitude" toward George and Charlotte, fully demonstrating her important role in preparing them for royal life, a body language expert told the Mirror.

Before sitting in the royal box to enjoy the men's singles final, the foursome fulfilled their royal duties by meeting the players, officials, ball boys and girls lined up on the players' lawn. Kate introduced her children to everyone and explained who they were and what they did.

Kate proved to be the leader of the family. Judy James, a body language expert, said, "Kate showed that she is the true queen of Wimbledon this year, showing her confidence and genuine passion for the game through her body language, while being highly visible and imposing in her leadership and hosting role." She hosted and mentored Charlotte and George while William stepped back and watched proudly." [With impressive resoluteness, Kate emceed the event, introducing Charlotte and George's names to the players and staff and giving lengthy explanations and instructions to her son and daughter. Her incessant pointing and explanations seemed to be effective in terms of motivation; the two children seemed as enthusiastic about the games as Kate herself by the time the finals began, mirroring her gestural rituals in a place where her power and synchronized display that attests to her leadership role."

Kate has been a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club since 2016, a role given to her by Queen Elizabeth.

James also stated that when the game started, George and Charlotte imitated their parents, George imitated William, and Charlotte imitated Kate.

"George's body language when watching the game was almost identical to the ritual he used when watching soccer with his father," James said. His air punch was a rather macho sign of triumph that he copied from William, but the gesture of covering his face with both hands looked identical to the gesture his mother used and showed the same enthusiasm." But it was Charlotte who surprised me here. Whereas her brother had limited himself to spontaneous but more subtle signs of encouragement and congratulations, Charlotte was in full battle mode, throwing her arms up in the air, mouth wide open and roaring with enthusiasm."[12

Charlotte mirrored her mother Kate, as she was prone to do: "Charlotte also imitated Kate's two-handed face-cutting gesture when her nerves got the better of her, but unlike her brother, she still couldn't resist looking through her coat," says James.

"Charlotte and Kate play a very convincing double act with a high level of subliminal mirroring, their heads nestled together in a nonverbal sign of synchronicity, and they moved and sat in similar positions as they watched the match." [And there were moments of very sweet affection between mother and daughter. When Charlotte looked at her mother, Kate placed a finger under her chin and gently tilted her head.

In addition to giving her children her full attention, Kate also paid attention to her husband, James told the Mirror. William had a low-key role, but when he chatted with the children, he received flattering and intense signals of attention and affection from Kate."
