It was Jordyn Woods who first reached out to revive her friendship with Kylie Jenner

Former best friends Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods were spotted eating sushi in Los Angeles on Saturday night. (Woods and Jenner's sister Khloe Kardashian's then-boyfriend Tristan Thompson were embroiled in a cheating scandal that ultimately led to the breakup of Woods and Jenner's longtime friendship.) According to People, details are emerging about how the reunion came about more than four years later. The magazine reports that Woods seems to have been the first to contact Jenner.

"Jordyn apologized for the way everything went down and reached out to Kylie to let her know that she loved her," a source told People.

Another source close to Jenner and Woods tells the outlet that Saturday's dinner was not the first time they've reunited--it's the first time they've been publicly photographed.People reports that "the two have spent the past year together off camera to develop their friendship."

The relationship has been a bit of a mess.

The source continued that everyone involved, including Kardashian, who is presumably not romantically involved with Thompson, has moved on from past drama and there is no longer tension on either side. Kardashian has not stopped Jenner from pursuing a reconciliation with Woods, the magazine reported. In fact, Kardashian had forgiven Woods as of December 2019, and although she was initially disappointed and hurt when she learned of Woods' affair with Thompson, she said later that year, "I have no negative feelings or hatred toward anyone! That's what I meant. Life is short! We are all human beings trying to understand this thing called life."[7

Kardashian continued, "Forgiveness is strength, not weakness," and then, despite a rough year, "My life is not consumed by hate. I choose to occupy my life with positivity. Hate is heavy, and I am tired of carrying that burden."

"I am tired of carrying that burden, and I am tired of carrying that burden.
