Lizzo Slams Body Shamers for Offensive Comments Against Her: "I'm Literally Just Trying to Live and Be Healthy"

Rizzo was minding her own business again when she logged onto Twitter and saw a bunch of fatphobic comments about herself. She replied to let people know exactly how she felt about this.

On her (locked) account, Star wrote: "How is Rizzo still so fat when she is moving so much on stage? What is she eating?"

The multi-platinum artist added, "I just logged into my app and this is the type of thing I see about me on a daily basis."

"I'm really starting to hate the world.

"Then someone in the comments said I 'eat a lot of fast food'

"I stopped eating fast food years ago.

"I'm always tired of explaining myself and I just want to get on this app without seeing my name in some bullshit"

The "About Damn Time" singer also wrote, "I don't think Lizzy (sic) wants to be small" He shared a screenshot of a tweet that read, "I don't think Lizzy (sic) wants to be small. ... Yet. If she does, she does."

"It's her brand."

"If she works with a nutritionist, they probably show her how to eat healthy and maintain size."

In response, Rizzo said, "Y'all really need to touch grass...

"I'm not trying to be fat

"I'm just trying to live and be healthy."

"I eat super clean and work out. I'm eating super clean and working out, but my body still looks like this!

"What do her fans think about this ordeal?

"The cruelty she faces every day when she does her job and cares about her work is outrageous," one wrote.

"Even the quote is mean because she refuses to be miserable. Why does her size matter to you?"

One put it simply and beautifully when she wrote, "It's so sickening to be bothered by fat on someone else's body."
