Read MorePrince Harry and Princess Meghan Markle are ready to stop doing tell-all books, interviews, and documentaries about themselves because they "have nothing more to say," Marie Claire reported.
According to the Mirror, the couple could make a fortune if they sell the rights to Harry's best-selling memoir "Spare," which was released earlier this year. According to the magazine, "Hollywood is eager to see the memoir made into a movie," and Harry is "counting on getting a record deal if he sells film and streaming rights to the explosive bestseller. The book is chock full of details about his courtship and marriage to Meghan, as well as revelations about Harry's drug use and sex life to his battle on the front lines in Afghanistan.
The book's ghostwriter was J.R. Moehringer, whose own memoir became the film The Tender Bar, starring Ben Affleck and directed by George Clooney. The Mirror reported that it was Clooney who introduced Moehringer to Harry.
Harry and Meghan are apparently "hopeful" that "Spare" will soon be adapted for the big screen: "Harry and Meghan are on win-win terms," says one source. Harry and Meghan are in a win-win situation," says a source. 'Harry will demand top dollar for the rights, and involving Arcewell would be a more lucrative "double win."'
Given the deal with the streaming giant, Harry would opt to release anything on Netflix. The couple's documentary "Harry & Meghan," produced by the streaming service, was a huge hit late last year.
"Given the success of Spare and Harry's name recognition, we can expect a record or near-record deal," said one source.
As for Meghan, the Daily Express reports that she could make an "astronomical" amount of money from Instagram brand sponsored posts (!). . The results revealed that "with just 27 posts, Meghan could cover the couple's living expenses for a year."
"It was really interesting to see how Meghan used her platform after leaving the royal family, and now that she has the time, space, and freedom, it is only natural that she would try to get back to her pre-engagement passion projects," says one source. 'Despite that, it's a little spooky to imagine how much money she and Prince Harry could make by promoting their favorite products online. The value per post they make is astronomical, and realistically, they could make more money than that just from their association."
