Kim Cattrall, "And So It Goes..." He was pretty demanding in his appearances.

You wouldn't miss this news by any chance, but this week, "And just like that..." Big news on the war front: Kim Cattrall, aka Samantha Jones, will make a cameo appearance in the second season of the "Sex and the City" reboot, which premieres later this month. The news comes after she sat out the show's first season following a "well-publicized fight" with co-star Sarah Jessica Parker, Page Six reports.

According to the magazine, Catral's appearance on the show, billed as a "cliffhanger," was not without stipulations. Catrall refused to be photographed with her former co-stars Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon. She also would not set foot on the set if showrunner (and SJP ally, according to Page Six) Michael Patrick King was present. 'Kim had two conditions. One was that she would not perform with the other girls, and the other was that she did not want to see Michael Patrick King."

And perhaps the biggest requirement was that "she [Cattrall] got a lot of money. It shows what Kim can do." They still need her in the show." But while fans may think this will bring her back for another season, she won't be doing that. She was treated poorly."

Remember, Samantha's absence was explained in the show's first season, when she was in London and she and Carrie Bradshaw (played by Parker) fell out after Carrie dumped Samantha as her publicist.

"We're happy to have her as our hero," a source said. There's no doubt it took a lot of massaging to make this cameo happen."

In the scene, which was filmed in Queens on March 22, "Samantha is seen talking on the phone with Carey in her car," Page Six reports. Catrall's appearance was a surprise to the crew, since her name was not on the call sheet: one source said, "The crew had no idea she was in the car doing the lighting."

"The offer presented to Kim was always a call, and like most calls, it was to be filmed alone," said an HBO and Max (the network on which "And Just Like That..." )," a spokesperson for HBO and Max (the network on which "And Just Like That..." airs) told Page Six. "This was an easy and convenient way for Samantha to do it. We are delighted it worked out."

Candace Bushnell, whose "Sex and the City" column inspired the hit show, told Page Six, "I love Kim. Everybody loves Kim. Kim is a grown woman and she does things her own way. Kim is a grown woman and she does things her own way.

The show returns on June 22, but Catrall's cameo won't be seen until August.
