'SATC's' Evan Handler 'Welcomes' Kim Cattrall's Return to TV

And the cast of "Just Like That" is delighted with Kim Cattrall's surprise cameo: ...... Even if we didn't get a glimpse of her during filming.

In case you missed the news, Catrall, who famously played the iconic Samantha Jones in the original "Sex and the City" TV and film series, had previously refused to appear in the new show (or, depending on who had not been invited), she will return for one scene in the sequel.

Asked at a recent event what he thought of Catrall's cameo, co-star Evan Handler (who plays Harry Goldenblatt) told People, "I think it's great. I think so."

The actress, who has been publicly feuding with Sarah Jessica Parker in recent years, previously reportedly did not meet or speak to any of her fellow cast members while filming her scenes in the season 2 finale.

"Apparently [her cameo] was filmed in a garage somewhere without any contact with anyone, and the only place I would welcome her would be in my living room when it aired on TV," Handler joked.

Asked at what point he learned that Cattrall had agreed to return, he simply replied, "I learned the same day you learned."

A source previously told Page Six, "Kim had two conditions: one was that she would not perform with the other girls, and the other was that she did not want to meet (showrunner) Michael Patrick King."

The source added, "She [Cattrall] would have won a lot of money." [It shows Kim's power. They still need her on the show. But while this might make fans think she'll be back for the next season, she won't. She was treated poorly.
